Training program in Dec offered by ACCU
 
NACUFOK – 3rd Asian Credit Union Leader Program
Date : 2 Dec 2019 - 12 Dec 2019
Venue: Fraiser Place Namdaemun, Seoul, South Korea
 
The Asian CU Leader’s Program provides opportunities to participants to gain first-hand knowledge of NACUFOK’s development experience.
 The program  is  designed to enable the participants to practice what they have learned to the development of the CU movement in their home countries. There are a wide range of topics are available in the Program, including The Challenges of Korean CU Movement, Deposit insurance fund, Regulatory structure, etc. In that program we can share our ideas to assist CU growth in our societies. 
 
A scholarship fund has been set up to facilitate the necessary procedures of this program, lessening the economic burden of the students wishing to participate. 
 
The program will accept maximum 2 participants for each  member:
 (1 from  National  CU federation, 1 from primary credit unions)
It is important that  participants  must  prepare Action plan to implement the learning form the  program in respective country.
 
The following are the Qualifications of program applicants
a) Proficiency in English (public speaking & writing included)
b) Credit union or  Credit union  federation  managerial level experience  over  5 years.
c)  Has not participated any NACUFOK exposure programs before
d)  Age below  50 years..
 
NACUFOK scholarship fund will cover;
1. 100% cost of Airfare (Economic Class International round tickets only). NACUFOK will be responsible to make your flight reservation.
2. All Domestic transportation, Meals and Accommodation during your stay in Korea.

Training program in Nov offered by ACCU

2019 CULROC Exposure Program in Taichung, Taiwan
Date : 3 – 9 Nov 2019
 
Participant Qualifications:
  • Be an executives or staff of ACCU member federations and primary CU
  • Have extensive credit union experience and knowledge
  • Good in spoken English
  • Attend CULROC Exposure Program for the first time.
 
For additional details regarding the program, please refer to the attached brochure/application form.  CULROC will only accept 12 participants. Every federation can only send 2 candidates. It would be on a first come, first served basis. The regular member will have priority for selection and remaining seats will be allocated to affiliate members.
 
CULROC will cover the cost of meals and twin sharing accommodation in Taiwan. Nominating organization shall cover for the airfare of participants. 
 
(*For the above program and training, CULHK may grant subsidy up to half of Air Fare(economic class) or HK$2,000 whichever is the less to successful applicant if requested subject with CULHK’s BOD approval.)

ACCU (Association of Asian Confederation of Credit Unions)has announced the 26th Development Education(DE) Workshop in November this year.


Date : 24(Sun)-30(Sat) November 2019
Venue : Bangkok, Thailand
Registration fees:
Shared Accommodation - US$ 750
Single Accommodation - US$ 850
Early Bird Discount of US$50, if payment is received before October 10, 2019
The registration fee includes:
-Twin/single room accommodation during the workshop from November 24 to 29, 2019
-Meals from dinner of November 24 to breakfast of November 30, 2019
-Credit Union/ Credit Cooperative Visit and Workshop Kit
 
Potential Development Educators generally must:
-- Be an employee or volunteer in a credit union, institute, association or National Federation of credit unions;
-- Have credit union experience and knowledge plus the potential to learn or enhance presentation and writing skills;
-- Have the time available to make use of opportunities to promote the movement’s values when occasion arise;
--Good in spoken and written English;
--Submit an application on the form provided meeting all the criteria and pre-selection requirements.
